What is Live Free and Dye? 

We are a clothing line that offers graphic design and screen prints clothing for businesses and personal projects.  Promotions, Advertising, Company Logo's, Designs for apparel, etc.

We are a clothing line.  We create fun, funny and fantastic designs that are sold through our online store.  We also offer graphic design and screen printing services for people and businesses throughout the Charlotte region. 

 

Are you a retail store?

We mostly sell online.  However, our workshop is near uptown Charlotte and we're happy to have our customers come visit us by appointment.

Where is your workshop located?

We're at 2206 West Morehead Street Charlotte, NC 28208, adjacent to Eagles League Tattoo's. *This is not your typical clothing store

What all is involved in the screen printing process once I have decided to make an order?

We approve the design to be screen printed, discuss the details of the order with our clients, collect the deposit (50% of the total amount due), buy the shirts, create the stencils, print the shirts and call you when they are finished! 

What is your turn around time, once my order is placed?

We're fast - only 7 days!  Rush orders can be accommodated depending on our workload, just ask.

What is your Price for Custom Printing?

There are many variables that weight on the pricing of screen printed shirts including: How many colors are in your design, how large is your order, and what type of shirt you would like to use. Please Fill out the Form below for your price quote!

What is your order minimum?

20 shirts is our minimum on all orders

Here is what we DO and DO NOT charge for:

Pick-up from 2206 West Morehead Street is FREE. This includes The Clothing Store and for Custom Printing.

Delivery of shirts - $10.00 (Charlotte, NC and the surrounding area only)

Shipping - USPS Priority Mail - Standard Rates Apply

Many designs, logo’s and ideas are NOT print ready. Our fee for this sort of graphic design rendering, is $50. (This fee is necessary due to the time it often takes to help a customer to render their design and/or logo to be print ready.) 

For orders less than 50 shirts there is a $30 screen set-up fee. 

We print both sides of the shirt- without charging you a flip fee (which ranges from $.49 a shirt- a $5.99 flat rate fee)

IMPORTANT NOTE: A PLACEMENT OF A DESIGN IS CONSIDERED A COLOR. IF YOU HAVE A 2- COLOR DESIGN AND YOU WANT US TO PRINT IT ON THE BACK AND THE FRONT OF THE SHIRT- THAT IS CONSIDERED 4 COLORS. Please then consider the 4 color pricing on our chart.

What shirts automatically come with an order?

100% combed/ringspun cotton or 100 % ultra cotton t-shirts depending on our clients needs.

Are there other shirts available to use?

Any color and blend is available, pricing may vary. 

Can I bring in my own shirts to be printed on?

Yes!  Best of all, save $3 off our normal per shirt cost.  However, additional shirts must be provided for fabric testing.

What designs are available for me to sell in my own store?

Looking to sell our shirts in your own store, gift shop, boutique, etc?  Great!  Any of the shirts in our Store are available for wholesale, or we can custom design shirts just for your business.

My design is almost finished but I need help, can you help me?

We are HAPPY to help our customers with designs and logos. We understand there are many things to consider when designing a shirt or a logo and in many situations time is a factor - this can greatly slow down the process for getting your shirts ordered. We are here to help!

How much does helping me with my logo or design cost? 

Our excellent advice is free. Graphic Design Assistance is $30. We can also help you prepare your design for Screen printing. 

Logo and T-shirt Design is $100. For more information see our Services tab on our main page and click on the Graphic Design Tab.

What is the best way to place an order? 

Give us a call at 704.778.2201 or E-mail us at Livefreeanddye@gmail.com We need to know - How many shirts, What sizes they are, What color(s) of ink, and What color(s) of shirts and we handle the rest!

What is a Format?

A Format is is the way something is arranged. We need your design to be in a specific format either ai (Adobe Illustrator), psd (photoshop document), or a JPEG Image, its resolution Must be 300. 

Can I take something from the internet and print that on a shirt? 

No. The internets resolution is 72 dpi (dots per inch). For an image to be print capable it must have a resolution of 300. If not, your image will be blocky and blurry - no exceptions. If you need assistance we are here to help!

How do I send you the completed design?

1) Scan the image using a copier or scanner onto a disk drive or directly e-mail it to us at Kelly@livefreeanddye.com. Check out Your local UPS store they can help for less than $1. Then either E-mail it to us or bring it by the shop!

2) If the image is already on the computer, E-mail it directly to us.

Return Policy - Live Free And Dye Clothing And Printing

We guarantee our products; if an item hasn’t met your expectations, you can bring it back. We will be more then HAPPY to exchange a purchase which is beginning to fade in the wash as well. In either case, simply return the item for exchange, refund, repair, or credit. Stop by our shop and we will be happy to assist you!

Returns and Exchanges

Returns and exchanges can be made at our work shop, through our website or by mail. You cannot cancel an order placed online once it has processed by the bank. Please note: We do not have retail stores, we work through our website from our work shop!

Returning by mail

    Within the US: Returned items must be sent via insured, prepaid Regular US Mail. Ensuring your return allows you to track your parcel with the US Postal Service. Please Note: We cannot accept CODs or courier deliveries.

    Outside the US: Ship goods prepaid, by insured ground shipping. To avoid unnecessary delays, please write “U.S. Goods returning” on the outside of the package. 

Please Note: Do not return items by UPS or other carriers, as duty and / or brokerage fees will be charged, and your return will be refused by Live Free and Dye Clothing.

If you are requesting an exchange, please remember to include sufficient payment for the return postage. Where applicable, please contact your local customs office for information about any taxes or duties that may be assessed on a return shipment.
